Interior Restoration of Historic Campus Library Eagle Rock, California
Occidental College has entrusted many projects to Vancrest Construction over the past 25 years, including:
Mary Clapp Norton Library: Renovation and restoration of multiple rooms. A primary objective of the school was to update the facility while keeping the historic context alive. Renovated areas included the interior of the reading room, exhibition hall, Cumberland Room, Jeffers Room, Galarza Room, and public restrooms. Services included installation of new lighting, construction of period shelving and paneling, new mill work and paneled doors, restoration of hard wood flooring and installation of new carpeting, new ornate plaster ceilings, and complete refinishing of wood work.
